Kee & Gloria | San Francisco | Palace of Fine Arts | Cable Cars | Engagement Session

Before Kee met Gloria, he was one of the happiest guys I've ever known.  We're good friends from college and I think he's gotten happier now that he's with Gloria.  I didn't think that was possible, because he has one of the biggest smiles I know and it's about 2mm wider now than before.  He couldn't stop smiling through the whole shoot and it was fun trying to see how long he can go without smiling between shots.  It's definitely infectious.

It's only fitting that Kee ended up with Gloria, who also has a great smile.  What's up with you happy people!  Needless to say, we all had a fun time getting out to SF at 7am on a Sunday morning!  We wanted that nice golden light from the sunrise.

Did I mention how Kee couldn't stop smiling and laughing through the whole shoot?  Gloria was lovin' it.

Their sweet love taking root.  Yeah, that was a corny line.

I can't quite put my finger on why I like this image so much, but I do.

The cable car guy kept yelling at me to stop leaning out the side.  I just wanted the shot.

Jennilee & Brett | San Francisco | Westcott | BART | Union Square | North Beach | Engagement Session

When we met Jennilee for the first time in Union Square, I think she was pretty nervous.  Well...I would be nervous too if I was about to get my picture taken for two hours straight.  After a few shots and Brett making us laugh with his funny antics, we all realized that this would be a fun and very refreshing (for us photographers) session.

We wanted to hit all the cool spots so we just kept on walking and walking.  We were even thinking about walking from North Beach to Union Square.  Brett and Jennilee were such good sports through it all and I think we managed to get some killer shots in.  I loved that they were always up for something creative and had great suggestions throughout the whole day.  I can't wait to shoot their wedding in May!

 Falling in love.  Literally.

We always look for great lighting first.  And sometimes the source might not be what you expect.  These were taken at the Powell Bart Station from one of those blank advertisement walls.  Normally, you'd have to do these in a studio.

Real props to Jennilee and Brett for this one.  These frosted door were backlit by a Victoria's Secret store.  We asked them to do anything they could think of behind those doors.  I don't think anyone knew that there were photographers on the other side so they just looked like two crazy people doing strange things inside of Victoria's Secret.   You guys rock!

We went behind an alley and found this.  I love the lighting in this one.

I was cracking up so hard during this one.  Brett was acting like a sleezy guy ambling down to the pretty lady.
