Both Northern California natives, Becky and David wanted their wedding to reflect the golden hills, spreading oaks and beautiful climate that they grew up with. With picturesque rolling hills, Diablo Ranch in Walnut Creek was the perfect setting for their California wedding.
Becky and David personally created many of the details from their weddings and loved collaborating together. Becky’s father grows grapes and produces his own wines out of her childhood home, which was served at the wedding with homemade bottle labels, designed by David. Becky’s father also cultivated baby cacti plants out of the family backyard and gifted each guest with a plant of their choice. Their friends worked together on all the flowers, and even bought some at Trader Joe's.
But most importantly, they had a vision for a festive and creative atmosphere for their guests. Their wedding was filled with fun activities to do throughout cocktail hour and dinner. Guests played pool and darts, pet the horses and emu, watched movies in a DIY movie theater, took Photo Booth pictures, and the kids climbed a tree house and jumped into the pool in their fancy clothes.
